How will we travel tomorrow? This question is increasingly on our minds in view of the worsening climate crisis. With its new AKXY2 concept vehicle, Asahi Kasei is providing an answer. The technology for tomorrow's mobility was most recently unveiled at CES, International Consumer Electronics Show, January 5-8 in Las Vegas, and includes in-vehicle solutions such as Active Road Noise Cancellation and millimeter wave radar to detect the presence of children and prevent drunk driving. Asahi Kasei is also focusing on sustainable materials, including Cubit™ - a spacer fabric made from partially bio-based polyester.
