The experienced wool specialists, the premium fashion company and the leading manufacturer of flat knitting machines have joined forces in a project to develop a suit that is almost entirely knitted in one piece. The futuristic suit by BOSS was knitted from yarns made by Südwolle Germany on a Stoll 18-gauge ADF machine in Italy.
In addition to machine technology, STOLL also provided respective know-how. The KARL MAYER Group's business unit carried out the basic development of the 3D textile in terms of pattern and stitch construction, and additionally acquired an Italian based Stoll customer for future production.
