This year's Heimtextil trend show was themed "Textiles Matter" and presented approaches to the circular economy that provide the market with impetus for sustainable development.

"Considering the ecological emergency we are currently in, the textile industry has a responsibility to review its processes and change them for the better. For this reason, in this edition of Heimtextil Trends, we are taking a materials-centric approach, focusing on the sourcing, design and sustainability of materials. Textiles Matter highlights the potential of the circular economy and recognizes design initiatives that are beautiful, relevant and, above all, sustainable," explained Marta Giralt Dunjó of FranklinTill.

When it comes to window decoration, its sustainability is evident not only in the material, but also in the look. The collections for the coming living season stand out with their homogeneous, reduced coloring. Earthy tones, muted colors, pastels and shades of white dominate the color world and stand for a purist, nature-derived look. In the case of curtains, the patterns are also discreet and unexcited.
