Cubit™ – a durable and recyclable spacer fabric that opens up new possibilities in all upholstery applications.

An upholstery material with many advantages"h2>
With its typical multi-layer structure consisting of an upper and lower layer and pile threads in between, the 3D warp knitted fabric Cubit™ offers everything that makes an ideal upholstery material: optimal body pressure distribution, excellent ventilation and high recovery performance.
In addition, the fabric is easy to wash and dries quickly. Another important advantage of the spacer material is its sustainability: The all PET monomaterial type provides an easy-to-recycle alternative to polyurethane foam in applications for the health care, furniture, or automotive industry.

Proven in the healthcare sector"h2>
Thank to these features, Cubit™ has been adopted for bedding for nursing care bed pads and wheelchair’s cushion of hospitals and nursing homes in Japan.
Potential for automotive interiors"h2>
The 3D warp knitted fabric with excellent resilience can also score highly in automotive interiors. Used as a base material for instrument panels, seats, door panels and armrests, it contributes to soft texture and impresses with its good recyclability, low weight and breathability.
Used as a base material for instrument panels, seats, door panels and armrests, it contributes to soft texture and impresses with its good recyclability, low weight and breathability.
When used in seats, an appropriate elastic modulus and elongation in the vertical and horizontal directions ensure good cushioning and resilience when attached to the frame. The spacer layer ensures good fit to the human body and vibration absorption, while the high surface rigidity of the ground structure supports the driver's posture. Further advantages include high seat safety due to high tear and rupture strength, good fit and pressure distribution, and excellent vibration absorption. Cubit™ also enables lightweight seats with a thin structure.
